ABOUT THE EXPO
'know us before you need us!'
It's impossible to know exactly what to expect from birth and postpartum. Knowing who to turn to and trust when challenges arise will help you to navigate unchartered terrain. This event will help you to become more familiar with local professionals who can help you on your parenting journey.
Historically humans gave birth amid a village of people with a wide variety of skills. It's how we survived for centuries! Now we have more technology and ease in many ways, but our human support systems are often weaker. If there ever were a time for dependence, it's in this childbearing phase of life. As we give our all to the new life we carry, we must find people who can take care of us too. Come find your village with us!
